Subject:
Pin tailed Whydah
Location:
Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Tanzania
Description:
It was a very difficult shoot as the birds are smallish and very fast, flying every which way. We spent quite a bit of time with this pair which helped me capture this image. The male Whydah birds are very striking when they have their pennant-like tail during breeding season.
