Southwestern Myotis (Myotis auriculus)
Coronado National Forest, Arizona, USA
This free-flying bat was photographed as it flew low over a water tank and took a drink. A Phototrap triggered a set of flashes when the bat broke an infrared beam at the point of focus. The image was taken on my just-completed bat photo tour.
