American Avocet
Belmar Park, Lakewood, Colorado
As many members know, Belmar Park can be a great place to photograph American Avocet in the spring. Early morning is definitely best because of the contrasting black and white. I am always hoping for reflections of the Avocets but an added bonus in this image for me is the water drop on the end of its bill.
