Pleiades and Blue Nebulosity
Roger Clark
Subject:
stars in the sky
Location:
made from east of Denver
Description:
Pleiades is a beautiful star cluster in small telescopes and binoculars. The cluster is near interstellar dust that is scattering light like sunlight scatters in our daytime sky making it blue. This is a natural color image made with new open source software that maintains color in post processing. The color of the nebula should be like that of a beautiful clear Colorado day.
