Scenic

Hello fellow photographer,
I am a landscape photographer from San Diego interested in shooting the mountain flowers the last 2 wks of July (preferably wildflower carpet with mountain background scenery). With the drier weather this past winter/spring in Colorado, will the flowers be any good and/or peaking at that time? I was thinking of coming to Crested Butte and Ouray area. I was there for the first time last October shooting the Fall colors with another local photographer and was told to also come back in mid July for the wildflowers. A few members of your club gave me great advice then so I thought that I'd ask again for next month.
If I don't come to Colorado, I'm considering going to Washington State Mt. Ranier's flowers instead. Please help me decide. I do not have a 4 x 4 auto. Thank you for any help you can offer me. Susan Dealy from San Diego
