All, I received this update from Ron Eberhart and am forwarding to you through the Scenic blog. Here are his comments. "Today I was able to get a good look at things around Ouray/ Ridgeway/ Silverton. Red Mountain pass, Ironton is at peak now and colors are very nice. Some of that area may last a week if wind is light and weather stays as mild as it has been. Dallas divide and lower Owl creek are still pretty green and I expect it will be another week for those. A friend reported that Aspen Maroon Bells Ashcroft are peaking now. Upper Owl creek is going well but not quite peak. May last another week. Good around Keebler pass but oddly lousy at McClure pass. I will check last dollar road and toward Telluride but heard reports that things still pretty green. Trees nice around Silverton and near peak."

I was at Maroon Bells yesterday and it was very near peak yesterday. Ashcroft was also very good. McClure pass is not very good this year. On Keebler as you approach the Dyke from the West is very good. It should be peak there in a few days.
